Charles Lamb
Adam’s at Clandeboye recently held the first major public exhibition of Charles Lamb’s artwork since the Portadown artist’s death in 1964. The paintings have been gathered from private collectors and the Lamb family; they depict the landscape of Connemara, an area Lamb loved and later lived in from the 1920s onwards. David Britton the Director at Adam’s said: “This is a wonderful exhibition that not only conveys Lamb’s love of Connemara but also a great sense of nostalgia for Ireland’s past and its simple traditions.”
