Student Style
Northern Bank’s Student Style event was part of a 3 day Academy in Belfast.
The Academy, guided by a selection of Northern Ireland’s leading business people, aimed to address the skills gap between third level education and the workplace, providing graduates with the skills they need to make a confident transition into the world of work.
There were workshops and talks from a variety of business people and tips on interview preparation from people such as BBC Apprentice finalist, Jim Eastwood, Richard Gaston of the Lyric Theatre, and Northern Bank’s chief economist Angela McGowan. The ‘Desk-to-Dance Floor’ style event hoped to teach students how to dress for success.
