Fashion Week

Super stylish ladies and gents made up the crowds at one of Ireland’s leading fashion extravaganzas, West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK in Belfast, to help celebrate the event’s eighth year and thirteenth season of exciting cutting-edge shows and fashion frenzied events.

Fabulous fashionistas, edgy trendsetters, media moguls and excited bloggers revelled in spring 2012’s key trends of soft pastels, sports luxe, shimmer and safari prints on a seriously glitzy blossom pink catwalk, while fabrics on show included rich, feminine silks, metallic satins and sheer lace.

Making the most of the busy FASHIONWEEK programme, which included five days of catwalk shows, master classes, stylish afternoon teas as well as the popular closing event ‘Style Sunday’ at super-chic restaurant James Street South, were girls about town Pamela Ballantine, Gemma Garrett and Gayle Williamson; TV presenters Zoe Salmon, Katie Larmour and Joanne Salley as well as Orlaith McAllister, Holly Sweeney and designers Una Rodden, Lisa McCabe and Ruedi Maguire.
