Cono Sur Wine Competition
One of Ireland’s oldest wine companies Woodford Bourne NI has secured an exclusive contract to distribute the South American wine brand Cono Sur across Northern Ireland. The Cono Sur brand, founded in 1993, has positioned itself as the second largest wine exporter from Chile in both volume and value.
The brand offers a wide range of wines, some of which are new to Northern Ireland including limited edition 20 Barrels, a Reserva range made from a selection of fruit that is harvested from older and lower yields to increase quality and a Sparkling Brut from Bio-Bio Valley, one of the most southern origins in the world.
Also new to Northern Ireland is the Bicycle range fo wine which carries the brand’s iconic bicycle image symbolising Cono Sur’s passion and commitment to the enviroment. Workers at the vineyards also use bicycles to move around the land in order to protect the terrain they work on.
