Go Over The Top For CAUSE!

CAUSE, Northern Ireland’s leading charity in supporting carers in mental health, is offering everyone the chance to see Belfast from a different angle by abseiling the Europa Hotel on Saturday 8th September 2012.

Abseilers will be able to admire the views over the city, Belfast Lough and the countryside beyond as they scale 120 feet down.  A rush of adrenaline is guaranteed for both novices and experienced abseilers.

Anne Holland, CAUSE Fundraising Manager, explains ‘This is a great opportunity to take a team challenge with friends, family or colleagues. You can even abseil in the attire of your choice.  Perhaps your company t-shirts or even fancy dress!’

Registration is £30.00 and the minimum sponsorship is £50.00. No experience is necessary as full training will be given on the day and fundraising packs are available to all participants.

Monies raised will be going to support carers and families of people living with serious mental illness.  CAUSE is a unique peer-led charity in Northern Ireland which offers emotional and practical support through carer advocates, a Helpline, support groups, educational training courses for carers and professionals.
