Bailles Mills Accordion Band - Concert for Charity

Baillies Mills Accordion Band celebrated it's 70th Anniversary with a charity concert and a capacity audience at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast.Supporting artists included,The Gillian Jone's Dancers, Methodist College Girls Choir, Mezzo Soprano Sheelagh Greer, and flautist Jonathan Johnston.

Charities to benefit from the proceeds are Marie Curie Cancer Care, Camphill Communities

Trust (N.I.) and Stepping Stones (N.I.) Each will receive a cheque for £2,500.


Appropriately the Band has been chosen to lead the Independance Day Parade in Bergen,

Norway on the 17th May 2010. Baillies Mills are honoured to be the first Accordion Band

from the U.K. who have been invited to join the celebrations and mark the day in 1814 when Norway

became indepandant from Denmark.
