Lord Mayor welcomes support plan for Afro-Caribbean communities

The Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Naomi Long, has welcomed the launch of a new support strategy for the Northern Ireland's growing African and Caribbean communities.

The Afro-Community Support Organisation of Northern Ireland (ACSONI) has launched its first three year strategic plan, which is designed to increase integration, community development and cohesion, with a primary focus upon furthering engagement with all stakeholders in Northern Ireland.


Speaking at the plan's launch at Parliament Buildings, the Lord Mayor praised the efforts being made on behalf of the African and Caribbean communities across Northern Ireland.
