NORTHERN Ireland's leading ferry company Stena Line has chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as its charity partner for 2010.Staff on Stena Line's Belfast-Stranraer route voted Macmillan as their charity of the year in an e-poll among those working on the route on both land and at sea.

Laura Johnston from the charity said she was delighted Stena Line is jumping onboard with Macmillan.

"We're so pleased Macmillan has been voted as the top choice in the Stena e-poll and can't wait to deliver a calendar of fundraising events which will enable everyone on the route to get involved.

"Stena Line has always been a great support to Macmillan and we look forward to developing that relationship throughout 2010," added Laura.
