Ulster Tatler Interiors Lifetime Recognition Awards 2024

Four distinguished individuals were recognised at the annual Ulster Tatler Interiors Lifetime Recognition Awards in association with Hafele Ireland.

The awards took place in the Ulster Reform Club on Thursday 14th March. Now in their fifth year, the awards were established to acknowledge the contribution made by key individuals in the architectural and interior design sectors in Northern Ireland. The awards were hosted by fashionista and Cool FM presenter Rebecca McKinney.

Norman Wilson, founder of furniture retailer CFC Interiors, was awarded a Lifetime Recognition Award for his contribution to the furniture industry at the gala dinner. Norman was born in Kilinall in Caledon and has been in the furniture business for nearly 50 years. As well as CFC Interiors the company also incorporates beds.ie and Killymoon.

North Belfast native Martin Hare, from architectural practice McAdam Design, was awarded for his contribution to architecture. Martin has worked on many award-winning projects including Belfast Boys’ Model School, Templemore Baths and Bangor Aurora Aquatics and Leisure Complex.

Cookstown born Ronnie McCulloch, from kitchen design practice

Daniel George Kitchens, was awarded for his contribution to the kitchen industry. Daniel George Kitchens is based on the Ruskey Road in Cookstown.

Co. Down born Evelyn Mehaffey, from interior design studio Stylish Living, was awarded for her contribution to interior design. Stylish Living is based on Lady Wallace Lane in Lisburn.

The Return of Garden Show Ireland

Garden Show Ireland returned to the historic Antrim Castlereagh Gardens for a three-day gardening extravaganza.

The event catered for family, friends and the garden enthusiast alike and was filled with flowers, food and fun.

Ulster Tatler Interiors Summer Soiree

Magheramorne Estate, Larne, was the beautiful setting for the Ulster Tatler Interiors summer networking dinner.

The private venue is the perfect location for corporate events, weddings or special occasions.

Jane’s Kitchen, the proud sister company of Magheramorne, provided the catering.

The event was attended by a cross section of people from the interiors and design industries.

Ulster Tatler Interiors celebrates 21 years

The Ulster Tatler Interiors Lifetime Awards recently took place in the Ulster Reform Club, Belfast.

The event was sponsored by home solution specialists, Hafele. Guests were treated to a Prosceco reception on arrival, followed by a three-course meal.

The awards ceremony was hosted by Cate Conway and entertainment was provided by Motown Sensations.

Following a speech by Ulster Tatler Group Managing Director, Chris Sherry, some of those from the interior design and building industries honoured on the night were presented with awards made by local artist Stephen Whalley.

Following an investment of £150k, the Fitzwilliam Hotel unveiled Belfast’s newest luxury private entertainment space which can be used for exclusive launches and intimate weddings, celebration dinners, corporate meetings, and a multitude of other very special occasions.

The room is versatile enough that it can be used for a boardroom meeting of up to twenty-two people, or for a private dinner for thirty-two people and sisters perched above the foyer at the mezzanine level.
